ShipToDorm

How pricing works

You pay for the help that gets packages near campus, holds them safely, and has everything ready on move-in day. Rates are set by each local facility—and depend on the services you use—so checkout shows your campus partner’s numbers, not a one-size-fits-all national rate card.

Near campus, not the dorm: Packages go to a secure local address near campus — not into the dorm mailroom.

Published pricing model

Short-term move-in storage is $20/day, capped at $149 total (reached on day 8), with a $99 minimum. Long-term storage (30+ days) is $149/month. Package receiving is $3/package.

Most families spend about $120–$180 total before move-in, depending on shipment size and timing.

What you pay for

Rates vary by facility

Every ShipToDorm partner sets its own prices for the services you use. Your total depends on which campus location you choose, how much you ship, package size, and how long items stay before pickup.

When your campus has live coverage, you’ll see that facility’s configured amounts at checkout for your student—clear and specific to where packages will be held.

How you pay

Add funds before peak shipping so packages keep getting received as they arrive. You’ll see charges for receiving and storage as things come in, and a clear picture of what’s left for the rest of the season. After pickup, any unused balance is handled per the terms you accept at signup.
